Robert L. Snowdale (C.O.O.)


A graduate of Northeastern University, Boston, MA, Rob spent eight years in various management positions with some of the nations most prominent surface transportation firms, before founding and operating one of the largest freight brokerage operations in the New England market. After a successful ten year tenure as Chief Operating Officer for this company, Rob's interests in the brokerage were purchased in 1990.

Rob then founded Distribution Solutions, Inc. Since the company's inception in 1990, a growing client base has been achieved.

A particular emphasis on rate negotiations, carrier services procurement and contract administration arises from having personally negotiated and supervised transportation contracts of over three hundred million dollars ($500,000,000) in his former and present employ.



Ken Buja (Vice President, Consulting)


A graduate of Bryant College North Smithfield, RI, Ken has spent the past 30 years in logistics with industry and third party logistics providers including, Polaroid, Ryder, and subsidiaries of Eastman Chemical, Yellow Corp. and CSX Corporation.

As a part-time faculty member of Northeastern University (Boston, MA) Ken is licensed to practice before the Surface Transportation Board and the Federal Maritime Commission. His work with Fortune 50 Companies in re-engineering supply chain and distribution systems has saved millions of dollars in domestic and international operations.



William J. Heffernan (Vice President, Sales)


Bill’s 34 year career at Yellow Transportation/Yellow Roadway Corp holding various operations and sales leadership positions provides DSi with a wealth of experience in the corporate and local sales channels in both regional and national LTL/TL/time critical/reverse logistics networks. 


Bill is an energetic logistics and transportation leader with extensive experience partnering with client bases ranging from small to Fortune 500 companies. Bill brings a proven history of success and leadership experience in managing, developing and motivating high performing teams who deliver significant long term value. His reputation for developing and maintaining strong industry relationships has been earned by meeting specific needs and providing each client with an exceptional marketing strategy and competitive advantage 



George J. Henrich (Director of Client Services)

George's 25 year background and experience in supply chain and logistics make him uniquely qualified for Logistics Consulting in today's global economy. Prior to joining DSi George worked with NxTier Technologies an applications solutions provider of supply chain management systems and has held senior management positions with leading global logistics providers such as DHL, OceanAir Inc., Deutsche Post World Net, JSI Logistics and C.H. Powell Company. George has successfully implemented logistics and supply chain management solutions for regional, national and global accounts.
